The Role
As Sourcing Manager Airline Solution you are a member of the committed category team IT which is part of the Strategic Sourcing organization within SAS. In the role as Sourcing Manager, you're supporting the Category Manager when managing contracted suppliers, negotiating procurement agreements involving significant costs and in the planning of the Category.
Your key responsibilities as:
- Support Category Manager in driving and managing business transformation for assigned categories.
- Lead and own the RFx process from end to end.
- Commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Managing suppliers through their lifecycle, including supplier risk, contract management and relationship management.
- Challenge the organization to find the best commercial solution for SAS.
- Optimize the supplier base for assigned categories to deliver best business value.
- Prepare PPT and business case for SAS management approval.
SAS’s office is located at Frösunda, the position reports to Head of Category IT and Distribution.
Is this you?
To be successful in this position, we believe you should possess a post-secondary education and minimum 4 years experiences from IT procurement. You should have experience in collaborate with stakeholders and have strong analytical skills. It is meritorious if you have experience as a consultant and from project management. You are accustomed to working in Excel (price trends and business case calculations) as well as Power Point and delivering presentations. You have a positive mindset, work well in teams, but also independently.
As we work in an international setting, besides being fluent in Swedish, you also communicate effortlessly in English, both verbally and in writing.
